Dr. Sharyn Byrne brings over 20 years of experience supporting adults and young people experiencing emotional and mental health challenges. Her background includes a decade working in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Castlebar, Co. Mayo, where she focused on the needs of children and teenagers. She is now in full-time private practice, operating from her offices in Balla, Co. Mayo.

Dr. Byrne’s expertise and approachable style have made a significant impact on the communities she serves. She was the keynote speaker at events hosted by Sligo Family Resource Centre in late 2023 and again in 2024.
